We have had a busy past few weeks. Our family came up from Georgia and we had a house full!

The second the ultrasound technician plopped the wand on my belly I saw...a yelled out "Penis!" She then confirmed that we are going to have a baby brother! So exciting. The kids are thrilled!

So now that we know we are having a boy it is really becoming harder for me to decide what type of theme I want to do his room in. Decisions....decisions.... I'm still leaning towards Fantastic Mr. Fox only because this kid is destined to have red hair....but there are so many other options I love.

Will post some options in my next blog post!

We had another ultrasound this week to verify our EDD. Last week I felt BB's first flutters....but they were a little stronger than I thought they should be. I let everyone have a feel and they could feel little movements & kicks as well. When I had my doctor visit he was also concerned that other's could feel the baby moving so he ordered another check.

Here 'He' is. Still 16 weeks. Will find out tomorrow what Dr. M thinks is going on....but normally others do not feel your baby move until around week 20. I keep telling everyone there is NO way I am a month further along...and the technician said I was still 16 weeks.

We have been moving the past week so things have been a little hectic. Will be sharing the nursery space as soon as I get boxes moved out! :)
Upon finding out about our newest addition I instantly realized our 4 door sedan was not going to hold four children in the back seat. My first thought was to find an SUV that gave us the room we needed while being fuel efficient and affordable.

For years I have always said "I will never drive a minivan." Keep in mind I only had one child and had no intentions of adding to that number personally....and with my step-daughters that made 3. Well they always say 'never say never.' When we went car shopping this was a deal we could not pass up. Now that I have been cruising around town for the last month in this thing I absolutely love it. So much room for all of my thrifting and yard saleing! Win Win!

A really good friend of mine recently had a baby and she decided to go with cloth diapers. I wish I could have done this when Mr. B was a baby but I was a full time student AND had a full time job. I just could not do it! She has inspired me to go for it and I have started collecting diaper covers, inserts and fitted diapers to do just that.

My mother cloth diapered my sister and I for a while but Im not really sure why she stopped. I would imagine it can get tiresome but since I am currently working from home with minimal amounts of time spent working outside the house I think I should have no problem. I already do at least a load of laundry everyday just to stay caught up.

Aside from the fact that I am helping reduce wastes in our landfills, saving money AND keeping chemicals used to create disposables off BB's skin....just look how cute these covers are!

Since I had to tell my family almost immediately that we were expecting I wanted to wait as long as possible before I told the world...and by world I mean Facebook. I thought it would be kind of funny to wait until I was 9 months pregnant and share the news....or wait until my water had broken and we were on the way to the hospital. I just couldn't wait.

Besides...I want to be able to share all these awesome yard-sale and thrift store bargains I have been finding!

Here is my coming out photo: 13 weeks

Since I am pretty positive that this little tater tot is going to have red hair Jimmy Hendrix's Foxy Lady has been running through my head. I want to decorate BB's nursery somewhat with foxes but I am not thrilled about having an actual theme. We are moving in less than three weeks and I'd like to start collecting thrift finds and fixing them up to be what I'd like....this graphic I created will more than likely be included on the wall somewhere.

Here is our little BB. Everything looks healthy and thankfully there is only one baby in there! Have a new due date of December 6th so that makes me 9 1/2 weeks....not that this really changes anything but the chances of BB being born on 12/13/14 has decreased a little.
